The music was taken from Staff 9, the band Craig Scanlon and Steve Hanley were in before joining The Fall. The lyrics were taken from the song Pop Stickers. According to Marc Riley, in an interview conducted with The Pseud Mag no 6 (Oct/Nov 2005), "the only time anyone contributed to lyrics [MES apart]as I remember was Choc-Stock which was a song Craig wrote...It was called Pop-Stock".
